TekSavvy CEO wins the first Top Telecom CEO Award for Large Enterprise from CCEOC

June 6, 2016. Toronto, Ontario.

TekSavvy CEO Marc Gaudrault today was announced as the first Top Telecom CEO for large enterprises while attending the Canadian Telecom Summit in Toronto, Ontario.

Corporate Culture & Employer of Choice (CCEOC) presents awards as part of a national program dedicated to identifying, recognizing and promoting the best employers in Canada's telecommunications industry. The awards are presented at the Canadian Telecom Summit, the leading telecom industry event which takes place in Toronto.

The Top Telecom CEO is a leader that the CCEOC feels exemplifies leadership qualities in communication, engagement, innovation, social responsibility, truth and respect. This is the first year that awards have been presented to the top CEO of small, medium and large Canadian telecom service providers - the latter consisting of companies with 500 or more employees.

"I'm truly honoured to receive this award from the CCEOC," stated Gaudrault, "especially in front of peers from other major providers here at the Canadian Telecom Summit."

Gaudrault has been building TekSavvy into Canada's largest independent telecom company since 1998 and now oversees over 500 employees out of the company's Chatham, Ontario headquarters and its offices in Gatineau, Quebec. While this is his first Top CEO Award, TekSavvy is no stranger to CCEOC's awards, having received one of its Canadian Telecommunications Employer of Choice Awards in both 2014 and 2015.

"This award not only recognizes my efforts over the years," added Gaudrault, "but more so the amazing team I have surrounding me - from senior management, to the agents in our contact centres right through to every last member of the team."

TekSavvy is also nominated for a third CTEOC award for 2016, and looks forward to Tuesday's announcement at the Telecom Summit of this year's awardees.
