OHL and TekSavvy Announce New Partnership

TORONTO (Wednesday, September 23, 2026) — The Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and TekSavvy announced today a new partnership that will connect the Canadian telecom company with fans, families and communities across the league. The partnership features TekSavvy serving as presenting sponsor of OHL Family Day Weekend.

The collaboration will see TekSavvy featured across league and club platforms, with in-venue and digital activations rolling out in OHL markets throughout the year.

Its centrepiece is OHL Family Day Weekend, the league's annual holiday showcase, which returns Feb. 12-15, 2027. Family Day Weekend is one of the busiest stretches on the OHL calendar, with 27 games scheduled across four days as clubs welcome families into their buildings throughout the league.

"TekSavvy is a Canadian company that understands what these teams mean to their communities, and that made this partnership a natural fit," said Cole Butterworth, senior vice-president of business operations for the OHL. "Family Day Weekend is one of the best weekends of our season — full buildings, families in the stands and 27 games in four days — and we're proud to have TekSavvy presenting a weekend built around getting families out to the rink together."

"As a Canadian company headquartered in Chatham-Kent, we are committed to serving local communities — TekSavvy is proud to partner with the OHL. We look forward to connecting with fans and celebrating the passion they bring to their hometown teams," said Marc Gaudrault, CEO of TekSavvy Solution Inc.
